Don't know if I'd like the CDI, but he's got lovely analog tachs .. I know he has them for the Rappy .. not sure about the Warrior ..

What would a new cdi do for you anyway? change timing? improve spark? remove rev. limiters?

I'm a real noob when it comes to modifications!!

 

Yea on the DS the rev limiter is VERY low at 7700 RPM...the stock engine can turn 8400-8500 RPM safely....With some mods, the DS is bumping on the limiter like crazy when racing or just accelerating hard...

That's why we buy CDIs...some completely eliminate the limiter...and some just make it higher...Also, they add an advanced timing curve for better performance.

The picture says its Alba and the description says its Ron Wood Racing. Which did you get it from?

 

i purchased it through alba but they told me it was a ron woods . even then part number starts with rwr.looks like they just stuck their sticker on it and marked up the price. when i initally bought it for 399 they told me it had a limiter on it. after i installed it and found out it didnt i called them back and thats when they told me it was a ron woods cdi.
