Default can someone help me out?(about new atv)

Can someone give me an honest opinion about the pred? I'm new on the block with sport quads, as i am used to drivin suped up ute quads with huge adapted tires lol. I need a sport quad to race against and ride with my friends on a 2003 CR125 and 2000 YZ85. My ute doesn't even come close and i want a good quad for woodland trails, open spaces, tracks and basicallly whatever i run into. Plus i do alot of dirtroad/trail drivin to get to paces i have to be. the pred seemed like my best bet, and any help would be great

-My latest ute was a suped up 86 honda 350 fourtraxwith experimental skidder tires.

Here's my opinion. Bare in mind I own a YFZ450. The Predator is a great machine. It has good power, handles well, jumps nice and is easy to ride. Its a little tall geared for dunes. But works great on trails. It has a comfortable seat and an awesome turning radius. It'll turn around in over a foot less space than my YFZ. The only complaint that I have about the Pred is it is a little heavy. Which you don't notice unless you have to man-handle it. Some complain about no reverse but I seldom find myself wishing I had reverse. I ride in the mountains in Colorado, the sand, the streets by my house, everywhere. I almost bought a Predator but went with the YFZ. I don't regret not buying one but if I get a second machine (yeah right I live in the doghouse now), it'd be a Predator.

WOW OU812 talkin bout hittin the nail on the head. lol ok well it is heavier than a YFZ.....what isnt. but its lighter than a raptor when wet so it kinda evens out at least i think so. get it man its good ALLLLLL around. on a MX track its pretty feirce. with the right mods it will be able to hang with and maybe even beat the almighty yfz. well i like mine, it does what i want it for. wich is MX. well i hope this helped in your purchase -PEACE-

hmmm both opinions sound good, and about bein heavy and manhandling it, that'll be fine because i'm sure my honda ways at least 500lbs. it definately isn't a lightweight, and i manhandle alot of the time seein as it handles worse than a tank, even with reverse. but ya the pred looked good for me, but OU812 you said you had a yfz450? i heard those a really good as well. could you let me know what it's like? if not that's ok you've helped alot as it is.

thnx to both you guys
