Good deal? Wheel advice.....
#1
23-8-10 on ITP .190 Aluminum Wheels $180.00
22-11-10 on ITP .190 Aluminum Wheels $195.00
Subtotal $375.00
Shipping $40.00
Total (without applicable tax): $415.00
Now, the thing is is that the website says "Available to fit most Sport 2-wheel drive models".....
I called to make sure the wheels will fit my scrammy......they will.....now here's the questions:
1. Is this the best price I'm going to find? (So far it's about $40 cheaper than what I've found)
2. Are ITP's good wheels? I've read that they dent/bend easier than Douglas .190's.....what about the Pure Polaris .190 aluminums?
I had to beat a dent out of my right front wheel yesterday......I could see the top edge of the tires bead.....now it's sorta back to normal but I'm afraid that the next hit in that area is going to leave me without a round wheel and without any air.....

Rook, don't know what website you are checking out, but RockyMountainATV has some of the best prices out there. They're worth a look before you order.

I have heard that ITP has problems holding air. Everybody I know runs Douglas and I have personally beat the S*&T out of mine with no problems. Other than that, it sounds liek a pretty good deal.

That's what I've been hearing as well.......any reason to get beadlocks?

Beadlocks protect the bead from popping from the rim- most often occuring during heavy duty rock climbing or fast impacts with rocks). If you have ever had a bead pop on the trail, you will know how invaluable they are.
It is rare that i see people running bead locks on quads.
However, are the cost and effort worth it?
