I called my dealer whom I have purchased all my quads from and to find the availiblity of the '04 Predator Troy Lee and he stated that they are slated to ship the last week in September, however, he already has a '04 Scrambler on the way.

Does this sound right?

 

Yea this sounds right. I talked to my dealer over the weekend about the 04s. He said the same thing around the middle of Sept. He also said they should get about 4-5 TLD Preds total. Thats what I have been waiting for. I have been looking at Preds for months and wanted to wait and see the level of durability and overal rider opinions. So I still have one more month to wait. Oh well, all good things take time. mike r

I remember Sept '02 and the pipe dreams my dealer telling me that my pred would be there in a "couple of weeks" Always worth the wait though.

 

They all look good, but something about the black stops traffic. Hmmm, then again so does a topless Britney Spears....but that never lasts, the Predator does. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

My dealer already has a 04 black scrambler in. He said that the pred price would go up $100 and right now there is a $300 rebate on the 03's. He said that there wasn't enough improvements to waste an extra $400 total for the 04. I dont know. I'm with yall.. Black plastic is the bomb. I'm waiting till the pred 90 comes out. He said that he hadn't ordered any of those. Something about end of physical year for polaris was august 31. And he didn't want alot of inventory until after august 31. Makes since. Cause he aint got nothing in his showroom new except that scrambler. Man it does look sharp. Anybody got that pred 90 for there kids? How does it stake up to a kawasaki 80.

 

If you guys check out www.atvtraderonline.com and search Predator 500 you will find a dealer in Ohio that has 04s in about anything you want. They are called Honda East. Never dealt with them but over the phone and they did say they had an 04 Pred. Not sure if I want to drive 7 hours to get there and 7 back. I think I will wait a few weeks for one to show up locally. btw I want a TLD pred too. Bad in Black. Later all. mike r

 

That seems a little weird since they supposidly aren't even shipping yet fromthe factory. Almost sounds a little TOO good. Has anybody dealt with them before? They are only 4 hours from my house.

 

There are no 2004 Predators at any dealers yet.

 

I am assuming youwork for Polaris or have close ties? Regardless, is the estiamte by the dealers correct? Late sept.?
