Would come in handy for tuning purposes.....

Westach also sell a tach for the 500 scram for about $85. Rick Ritter sells one made by Westach for $100

 

Exhaust Gas Technologies also sells a pricey, but very feature filled recording tach. The playback feature is extremely useful with clutch tuning.
