Charging Question
I am helping a friend with his '94 Sportsman 400 that dosen't seem to be charging. Voltage does not change significantly from unstarted to started to revved up when checked at the battery. First guess is magneto but I would like to know if there is a regulator, fuse, relay etc.. that could be the culprit. Does anyone have a manual with procedures or diagrams that could help me out. Thanks.

Charging Question
I think you need to check the stator with an ohm meter to be sure there isnt aa shorted windding in it.
