i purchased a 83 250r about three months ago and restored it. everything on the bike works great but, the thing bggs out eveytime i ride. has anyone had the same thing or know whats up with it?

 

could be lots of things... Carb, motor, gaskets, air leak... Do a compression check. If your 170 and up your mint. Look and see if any gaskets are blown. if it bogs on bottom end try adjusting the air screw. If it bogs on top end the main jet could be rich.

 

My vote is an air leak at the base gasket!
