my spark arrestor in one of my silencers is rattling and its driving me nuts! I was wondering if anybody has ever cut apart the silencer and taken the spark arrestor out and welded it back together. I've heard of a few people taking silencers from snowmobiles and dirt bikes apart but nobody has ever said if it was bad or not. If you could enlighten me on the subject, please do so. Thanks.

 

Are they the stock silencers or aftermarket?? If there aftermarket just repack them and see if that stops it. If there stock just buy aftermarket[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img].
