Default pismo and my v force

i just got back from pismo this labor day weekend
and i very satisfied with my v. I was beating every
4 stroke out there, from cannondales, to predators
to raptors with cams and procircut t-4's all i have done
is some slight air box mods and a purple epi clutch spring
i was also running 22-8-10 dune tracker fronts and 22-11-10
skat trak extreme's 10 paddle. i was able to get the
holeshot and just pull away up the hill. i have just ordered
the dmc alien exaust. so if you were in pismo you probably
saw me. my v is blazing orange

Sounds like fun. You must be light to beat all those guys with no exhaust. I had to go waterskiing that weekend. Bummer. But I got a little seat time on the V, driving up and down the shore. Some of my inlaws tried it for the 1st time. They were all impressed. My wife kept taking the V out with a group then coming back on a polaris or yamaha. They kept asking her to trade machines, and she let them. I'm not so nice.

Dunerider, how did the purple spring affect your low end torque/throttle response and clutch engagement. I would love to try a different spring to add more top end power but I would hate to give up any of the low end power. I love the way in takes off like a rocket and will pull a wheelie for a mile...

well it stalls untill about 1/4 throttle but as soon
as it engages look out! i was holeshoting all the
manual tranny bikes buy about a quad length.
you sacrifice nothing in the sand with this spring
but i would not recommend it for high traction
surfaces like asphalt because when it engages
it engages really fast and on pavement may
break something but for sand and dirt its perfect.
