I cant seem to ajust the idle screw on the tecate. I mean I can adjust it but it idles too fast and adjusting the screw dont seem to help. When the tank is full of gas it seems to adjust some what, and i can get the idle down. But as the tank gets lower the idel gets faster. Strange I know, but I cant figure it out. But even with a full tank the screw doesnt work like it should. Any help?

 

rebuild your carb and check for clogged jets and/or fuel lines. refer to a manual for proper slow jet sizes. also check for proper slack in the throttle cable. check for air leaks around the intake/reeds area. my guess is it's the carb.
