Banshee for 3K vs z400 for 4500
#1
Hey,
I am about to buy a Banshee for $3000 with Toomey t5's, Ported, and a few other basic mods. It is not bored over but has a fresh top-end rebuild. The machine is in great condition from what I can tell.
At the last hour, I am thinking that maybe I would be better off with the z400 as it seems to be a better "overall" from what I read, especially because of handling and a wider powerband. There is a 2003 locally going for $4500 that is bone stock.
I will probably be mainly riding trails and maybe playing on MX tracks, taking a dune trip once a year or so. I plan on riding through the winter as well. Does the 2 stroke have issues with cold weather?
I figure that whatever the z400 does better than the Banshee the $1500 will be enough cash to make up for it. Thinking perhaps swapping pipes for something with a better low end and tweaking suspension.
What do you guys think?
Tom

Alright I highly recommend the z400 because like you said its like a overall quad for all kinds of riding, but with the banshee its mainly a dune riding quad plus I don't like the sound of the price 3000 to me it sounds like he rode it pretty hard. Oh well your choice

just do the opposite of what "a guy" said, i mean come on do you trust a user name like that. seriously though, the z400 is a goodbike, so is the banshee, it had been out for a long time. as long as you are getting out riding that's all that really matters, get thebike thats best for you
