Default Going to lower and extend my rappy ... any suggestions?

Hey guys. I was at winchester labor day and was talkin to a guy that put banshee shocks on the front and extended his swingarm 4 inches and flipped the dog bone. I know it wont ride as good up front with the shee shocks on there but do I need a aftermarket shock with a longer swingarm? Also can someone specfically tell me which piece to flip around on the back shock to lower it ... thanks guys

Flip the bottom bracket that the rear shock attaches to. Be sure to tie your grab bar to a roof raftor, tree limb, engine hoist, something, so your bike doesn't slam down after you disconect linkage. I was impressed with how more stable the bike seemed in the fast corners after such a simple adjustment. About a hour job. Got the idea from some of the veterans of this site. Most are always a big help. Hope this helps i

Ok so its the bottom straight one? Cuz it doesnt seem like it would do anything if you flipped it ... By the way does this mean NO jumping?

DO you have a picture of this, I love my raptor but it could be a little lower, lower center of gravity. Any cons to this?

Do some research on this....the frame bottoms much easier. I have read of guys actually incurring frame damage from this mod. If there were no tradeoffs, all Raptor guys would do it.

Here is what you do:

The piece with the grease fitting on your rear end...flip it over. Don't turn it upside down, flip it over left to right. You will drop 4' in the back. It takes less then 15minutes to do. All you need is a jack and 4 wrenchs. I can't remember the sizes, but it takes two wrenchs for the larger bolt on the swing arm, and two for the bolts that mount the shock to the linkage. It doesn't take anytime hardly at all and it's great. Espically if you don't jump much.

I also got a CFM Performance lowering kit for $55 and lowered my front 4' which also made it 2' wider. And the overall appearence is awesome with the lowering kit. I wanted to get some pic's up but my chic friend with a digital camera went back to college and didn't take my pic's for me. But I assure you the handling and the look is 100 times better.

But....NO JUMPING!!!!

If anyone has any question's, send me a email at gytr_660r@yahoo.com or send me a personal message through this board.
