Ya my friend jsut got a brand new 04 400ex and i wondered if i raced hi mwho would win..... his is not broken in yet... and is stock

hhmm.. i rode that 400 ex and it just didn't seem to have the power there when u need it... that's y i wonderin i knew it had a power advantage but ya... what if i got a MBRP full sys exhaust??

 

o ya it still i put the K&N ther ebcuz i thoghut i was getting 1 today but i ddin't so it's still stock....

 

Dont know too much about full exhaust the stock headpipes are pretty good unless you start goin internal then it can handle a new header. I seen a 400ex when I was riding once the kid could barley kick up the gravel he was on.

 

I would think that the ex would win but I have not seen them race.......

 

The ex for sure if rider skill is equal. You never know, you might get lucky!

 

you need about 25 hp to beat a 400ex. With a pipe and filter you may have 21 or 22.
