LTE duals for Raptor-Best Potential?
#1
If my reasoning is correct then would it be safe to say that assuming the mufflers of this system worked efficiently then this system would make more hp ultimatley on a modified raptor than any single muffler system? I am modded 686 and up. Let me know your opinions. Also has anyone used these with success/and or has anyone gathered dyno numbers/comparisons on this setup? I found a place that sells them for $660. Thanks.

My totally uneducated opinion would be to stay with the Yoshimura system and purchase a Drag pipe from MBRP for race nights!! Goood Luck with your endeavor!!!!!!!

THat is an EXTREMELY bold statement, how did you come to that conclusion. Not saying you are wrong, I would just have to have hard evidence of that. And on a modified Bike I don't see how the Duals wouldn't make the most Peak HP... I know peak isn't everything but for sake of argument.

just going by personal experience, and what i've heard around the net.
my alba piped raptor has more power then one with a yoshi full system, and one with a white brothers.
i'm sure the dual pipes would be good, but a alba with the race end cap is supposed to give you the most hp gain.

The way the LTE pipes look to me is that the left pipe is about a foot longer than the right looking from the rear.
Anytime you start making one pipe longer than the other on a single cyllinder engine. your going to get flow change between the two pipes. I think you'll end up with a flow problem. just my opinion. That is a cool lookin pipe though.
