Default Filter Kit questions - Z400

Hi everyone. i have a few questions for you about the Pro design filter kit and the alba filter kit. Is there really any difference between the two, and if so.... what?? are the aluminum adapters the same diameter? Also, i want to buy a filter kit soon, so i need to know how much to rejet the main if i run with K&n and outerwears, no lid or snorkel, stock exhaust (for now). Thanks for any help!

i think that to run it stock with no lid go to a 20 bigger jet. im not sure how to jet it for a new filter, but just by taking off the lid it increase alot of power, noticable.

I also got the noss machine kit with K&N filter and outerware. $100.
Good set up.

When I first got my quad, I removed the airbox lid with the stock filter and installed a 155 mainjet. Did not change the air screw, pilot jet, or needle. It ran great, also had better performance. With an aftermarket air filter you might have to go a tad bigger on the main jet. You might want to get a needle and adjust the air screw to fine tune it.

Just a warning the float bowl screws will not come out very easily the first time. Might want an impact screwdriver to get them out.
