Default Raptor Stage II Cam

I am interested in installing a Stage II Cam in my Raptor. I t's already jetted and fully piped.
I want more power without sacrificing reliability. The stage II hot cam has my interest. As the Stage one does not have enough torque from what I hear. What cam do you suggest for
for my Raptor. The kinds of riding I do is fast and furious, mainly fireroads, hillclimbs and dunes. High speed all day, mainly fireroads. Can you just drop the cam in without doing any other mods? Who has a Stage II camed Raptor? How happy are you with the performance over stock?
Finally, Do I get it from Craycraft Racing in Texas?

You need to add new valvesprings to your head when you install the cam or else you run the risk of your stock ones crapping out on you, which they will with that cam.

Here is craycraft info. http://www.14mins.com/craycraft_racing.htm

You are not going to see a good increase with the stage 2 unless you port the head and run a high compression piston.

So I get the Stage II Hot Cam and the valve spring kit. Am I good to go or do I have to
get a carillo rod also? How reliable is it running a Stage II opposed with a Stage I?

I can think of no reason to change the rod when you change the cam........
if you get the stage 2 cam and the kibblewhite springs that should be all youneed........
but....I don't know how that would work on a stock compression motor?

With the massive gain in the mid to top with the stage 2 cam you HAVE to have a high compression piston!! I think your better off going with the whole package 12.1 piston, stage 2 cam Kibble white springs and a port and polish for the real huge improvement!!!!!!! If you not willing to do all that then just go with the stage 1 cam. Thats what i'm running with a port and polish and 12.1 piston and love the massive increase I got!!!!!!!!!!!!
