When you hit the rev limiter in 5th gear can you hold the throttle wide open or do you have to let off??? And when you drag race do you let off the throttle between shifting???

Well when you hit the rev limiter in 5th gear then the RPMS wont go any higher so why would you keep holding it WOT? Also when drag racing some let off the gas some dont. If you keep the throttle pinned while shifting then you will hurt the clutch a little more than if you did if you let off while shifting. Some people dont use the clutch at all and use the gas to shift and that will eventually hurt the clutch fork which is a lot harder to fix than the clutch. I myself dont let off the throttle when drag racing and just tap the clutch to shift and it works great for me.
