temp light coming on 1995 425 magnum
#1
went for a long ride in a very muddy & wet trail & got swamped not too bad like i didnt suck any water .
but on the way home through a dry trail the bike got hot & the temp light came on I shut it down & the fan was on. after it cooled I tried to start it & it wouldnt fire up . found that i was out of fuel . turned on reserve I the way i went . Could it be possible that because the bike was running out of fuel & burning lean that the engine got hot because of this ? I checked the coolant level - full . Checked for coolant leaks
no leaks . Is it normal for these bikses to get hot after alot of slow riding & idiling . or do I have a problem?
Any answers, ideas or comments would be appreciated thanks
