BLASTER 04!!!!!!!!!

after almost every ride your gonna want to clean off the grease and oil crap off the motor cause if u dont it will build up. to break it in the book says to go up to half throttle for the first 10 hours and then up to 3/4 throttle the next 10 hours. thats what i did with my 04 blaster. and just use yamalube oil in the tank under the seat. and 1 last thing get the toomey B-1 pipe kit

for the first tank just take her easy, no wide open throttle or anything, cycle through all gears and take breaks and let it cool. after the first tank of gas, change the oil and a bunch of shavings that look like toe nails should come out, this is good. refill with 10w 30 motor oil or the correct yamalube (i dont know what kind or number)........ this is good enough for a break in. after that just take it easy for a while and change the oil as often as you can afford too, i do about every 5 rides. grease all the fittings with a lithium soap base (i think) grease and a grease gun until you see grease come out somewhere. be careful because its easy to break the nipples (i like that word ahaha). turn the grease gun and twist it off gently. remember to refill your injector often and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please be careful, when i got my new ride a good while a go i flipped it like 5 times in a week. this comes from one thing, hotshotting around when you don't know what to expect from the machine. i havn't flipped it since b/c i know how to control it now. just don't get hurt. and when you think you want more power, get the toomey b-1 pipe kit ! Thanks alot for replying!
1 more quick question.... I went to the dealer today to get all the goodies, and for the oil injector i said i wanted yamalube, he said no you want this one (ScooterPro2T) so i just got it. When i get home i open the oil and the color is yellow, the color oil in my injector is purplish so there different? can i mix the oils together? or do i have to bleed the injector?
O and I am taking it easy on the blaster. and i do wear a helmet

Personally Id ditch the oil injection and just mix your own gas..but im not sure what will happen if you put two different ones...depends on the difference between the two i guess..Id bleed it just to be safe though...;-p

Definately trash the oil injection. And like said before, use castor 927. It burns cleaner and smells better. I still use yamalube for the tranny, but might change that soon also. And TOOMEY B-1 all the way.
