Default VForce Annoying Sound

Ever since i bought my 700 V Force its been making a weird metallic screaching sound comming from the belt housing. It only makes this sound while climbing small grades or climbing up a small hill at slower speeds (only when warm) If the bike has just been started and not warm enough for the fan to kick on, and my speed is faster climbing any grade, the sound goes away. It sounds like a bird is scratching inside the housing, and seems like the bike is trying to shift. Once its in a higher gear the sound is gone.
I took it in for service and here is what the repair order said ("We removed drive clutch, found contactingwindage deflector, we removed some material from fan so not to contact shroud") Once I brought it home the sound is still there only when fully warmed up and even climbing the small grade in my backyard. I never had this bike in any water either. Is this just the nature for the beast or should i still be concerned? Has anyone else had this same experience? Thanks so much
Brian.

There are a few sounds like the tranny "klicking" going over hard ruts and the whine noise but nothing like you are describing. Sounds like you better head either back to your dealer for a closer look or find a Kawi dealer close by and let them have a look. That doesn't sound normal!
