I am looking into gettign a sprot quad and i will not buy anything other than honda. My question is what would be a better quad a 250r with engine work or a 400 ex with engine work.

Keep in mind this ATV needs to be VERY relible in every way

what would be better!!!!!!!! or just leave 400EX stock

Will a quad with a little motor work stilll be reiable enough to ride trails with and then go out and have some fun I dont need a 1 way quad i want some thing that is able to do it all.

 

I wouldn't give up my R for anything but finding a good used one is hard and will be expensive. 400Exs are dirt cheap now, it you want reliability a stock 400ex can't be beat.

I have a 440 ex with lots of mods and it has ran great for two years with no problems. I expect it to keep running well for a long time.
