has any one put a CT PIPE on there yfz 450? if so what did you use for a clamp for the header?

 

u got a picture of it or something what kind of hp gains are there

 

NO PIC YET..I JUST PUT IT ON TONIGHT BUT I HAVE NOT DONE THE JETTING YET? THE CLAMP THAT COMES STOCK WITH IT IS TO BIG ...THE CLAMP YOU USE WHERE THE HEADER AND THE MUFFLER MEET IS TO BIG AND CT DID NOT GIVE ME A NEW CLAMP SO I WILL HAVE TO FISH AROUND ON THE NET AND FIND SOME THING..IT'S A NICE PIPE ..GOT THE PIPE,HEADER AND JET KIT WITH THE SPARK ARRESTER FOR 489..

 

Hey bud.....it looks like you are screaming when you reply in caps. I am sure CT has some elaborate claims on the pipe. The famous Raptor pipe shootout that was rigged by CT should be enough reason for anyone not too purchase their product.

 

Please explain what you mean by rigged shootout?

 

the dirtwheels shoot out on the raptor pipes was rigged.........everyone on her should know this.........there have been MANY threads talking about this.....

 

Well I don't so please explain, Not to defend CT, but I have one on my Blaster and it rocks, I was thinking about CT or HMF for my YFZ which is why I am so concerned.

 

My CT pipe for my Z did not come with a clamp, I put it togather and it does not leak.

I have a CT pipe on my Z and I am very happy with it. I also see a lot of raptors with CT pipes and they all seem to run and perform great.

Just telling you my experience.
