wich are the best razers for the kfx 400 and why.should i go with a 6 or a 4 ply.for the rear

 

kaw, what kinda conditions do you ride. 6ply would be maximum protection but will probably add weight due to the thicker tire. i am thinking of getting Razors too, let me know how they work out.

razors are awesome you'll love them they work in all conditions and the tread is very good, i ride pavement alot and i've had them for about 4 months and still have over 80% tread left.

 

I have the razr 2's and will never buy any other tire then razr 2's
The 6 ply are the best , the bite is the best , and the side bite is the best.

 

Hey kawazuki400 I have 4 ply on mine and have had them for about 9 mos they are awesome and all i do is trail ride. I havent had no problem with them as far as on the trail but I do have a hard time with them holding air but its cause these rims are gettin bent up is why.

 

Alot depends on what the terrain is like where you ride. I ride steep, rocky mountains trails down in Tennessee. I had razors on my Predator. I hated them. They were terrible in the mud. Trying to climb any hills when it was wet, was an excercise in futility. I put Blackwaters on the rear, and I'm glad I did. Just my experience.

I love my razrs, they hook up great in all terrain great, i would get 4 plys over 6 for me but i jump mine alot and dont want to unbalance it with thicker tires.

 

what are you doing with your kfx? if you're racing it you'll wanna get somthing like holeshots or new 400ex tires. but for trail riding I have the 6 ply maxxis razors on my quad and they last a long time and grip really good in any weather.
