This past wkd i was at the red river and a new yami 450 came down wow did it look sweet!and i knew the guy so i know he knows how to ride...but i was on my 440ex on 87 pump gas [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] and we lined up we both had paddles and i flat out took him from the start from the finish and at about the 600ft mark i was a good 5-6 bike lengths ahead of him...but my 440 jumps so hard off the line its hard to catch it lol...but i was not very impressed w/the new 450 myself...they are more of a motocross bike..but i hear that samcoe's 450 will flat out HAUL *****!soo i dunnno?any input why i stomped him?

Those 450's are really impressive,so your 440 must run really strong.

That being said..... If you can run within 10-12 bike lenghts of Samcoeds's sons 450 you will be doing good![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Wow, that is surprising. I'm building up my 440 now but would never expect it to take a YFZ 450. Good Job.

 

Maybe that 450 was not uncorked yet.

I outran the first one I came across to, 3 times... The next couple that I raced just clowned me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] If they have that pathetic stock pipe they are pretty harmless, If they have a pipe it's a whole different story.

 

my wifes 440 ex can just barely beat a stock 450 but if they are piped they are much faster depending on the riders skill level of course.
