This is going to sound like an odd question, but I just recently applied for a personal loan to make a quad purchase. The thing that I'm wondering is, how long does it normally take to get a reply from the lenders on whether or not I got the loan? A little less than a week? Exactly a week? A little more than a week?

Depends on the lending institution and your credit history/assets. It's possible to get the financing you describe in about 15 minutes, it's also possible that your money source is not too interested so it may take forever.

Keep in mind that when you get a loan all you are doing is buying money. Right now interest is so low that it truly is a buyers market. I'd call your source up first thing Monday morning and if they haven't got things ready to go then shop around somewhere else. Even some of the ATV stores have good financing deals these days, just stay away from the ones that offer low interest for a short time then jump the rate up after 3 or 6 months.

if you are buying new i would talk to your dealer about financing. all of the manufacturers are offering some pretty good deals for financing now, and they usually you can go in to buy the atv and be leaving with it fully approved in an hour or less
