Default Looking for a LT250

I am looking for my first quad and I am thinking after the reading I've done that a lt would be a good first one.
I've been riding street for a while but I don't like wheelie tickets so I figured I would take up dirt. What is a good price for a lt250 and does anyone have one for sale? thanx

I’ve got a 86 for sale. It’s in Florida though so it’s a bit far to come get it. Asking 2200$ but will negotiate, also have a few extra parts. You can see it in my pic page.

If you want to see several prices on these, look in Ebay motors and ATV Trader websites. For $2K you should be able to buy a very straight and clean later model with extensive mods. Shop around, you'll be glad you did. I bought my '88 for a thou with low hours/original tires, but I had to do a top end and some cosmetic work.

Iam looking for an LT 250 now too, and i've found that if you pick up a copy of your local want adds, you can find an LT that needs somthing minor like a new top end for as low as $800. Check it out before you spend 2k.
