Default Banshee wont run!!! NEED HELP!!!

Hey, I posted a post to try to idle up my banshee and yall told me were the idle screws were and to turn um in for higher and out for lower, I was also runnin 24:1 gas/oil mix and yall told me to run 40:1 so I mixed some new gas and replaced my spark plugs...

now for the story, when I went to idle it up I saw that the THORS were loose on top of the carbs so I snuged them up and idled it up and now it wont run hardly at all... I have no idea whats wrong with it...

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

when you say it will hardly run will it idle by itself or do you have to use the gas to keep it running. you may need to adjust the air fuel mix screw i am not 100% sure but had to do that to mine once but i dont know if you have the same prob or not hope this helps

40:1 is a little lean for summer riding, I run 34:1. Turn the screws all the way in and then back them out 1/4 at a time, I'm pretty sure my screws are like 3 1/2 turns out. Then adjust the air/fuel screws (flat-head adjustment) on the left side of both carbs. You'll need a long screwdriver to reach the right one b/c you have to come from the left side. With good jetting 'shee should run cherry w/ them 3/4 to 1 3/4 turns out. Also make sure you turn both of those equally.

Ok I'll try the air/fuel mixture screws and I have to give it gas for it to idle unless the idle screws are all teh way in and then it idles high and backfires like crazy outta the right cylinder...
