TM 45 jetting survey, I'll start.......

On my 720 with mild cams & stock valves my DS likes to be set up a little lean, but probably due to non-oxygenated 115 octane Turbo blue. 1750' elevation, 75-85 temp. range. Anyway, 145 main, 97 needle clip # 1, 40 pilot with 2 turns out on the airscrew, 50 accelerator pump nozzle. I am also running a D9EA plug. When running 100 octane oxygenated Sunoco GT100 she likes a 147.5 main & clip # 2. How 'bout some feedback, fellas!

I'm a stock bore at 700ft., 94 octane pump gas, #50 pump nozzle, 30 pilot, #95 needle 5th groove, 147.5 main. This is with stock airbox, no lid, K&N, Yoshimura exhaust. Got a full Graydon on the way, figured I'd put in the 150 main and work my way back down if need be.

Hillbilly, The 720 likes to run a little more lean due to the larger bore. You are creating more vacuum now than before so it sucks more fuel thru. I Run a 142.5 or 145 depending on outside temps at sea level. I run the stock needle which I beleive is the #97 in the middle position and a 40 pilot. I also run 101 octane trick fuel. The higher octane fuel you run the leaner you can run. I also find if you are running the higher octane fuel that you should run the DR8EA plugs instead of the 9's. I don't run the accelerator pump because when I drag race I start out wide open throttle anyway so it doesen't help me any to activate it. I would however one day maybe like to activate it for duning purposes. I also run a RWR pipe, with K&N filter.
