well denniskirk has a couple of brands to choose from, the cheapest (polly) only costs $13 but then there are some from Hot Grips that cost $105. my neighbor has some he uses in the winter and they are awsome.... i don't know what brand they are but they worked great. he also had some of those mitten type things you slip on the handle bars that really kept the heat in there.

Where I live we buy hot grips before beer (just kidding). Around here hot grips are the only way to go if you want to ride from Sept to May. I also have the thumb warmer too complete with an electric vest (on order) and last but not least electric insoles (on order). Ah! now I'm warm. Oh I almost forgot I have a windshield too.
My hot grips are on a Hi Off Lo switch as well as the thumb warmers, unfortunately I don't know the manufacturer as they were part of the negotiations when I bought the quad.

I just got a pair from Cabelas for $25. High/low/off. I had a similar pair for a few years on a different machine and they are priceless in the cold. You can wear much lighter gloves. The only thing I don't like about them is that the grip is a smooth hard plastic. Softer grips are available for more $ I think.

Metalfreakdude, I had the same type on my last quad and they are hard on your hands. The ones I have now are a film that wraps around the handle bars with the original grips over the top.

Hey Traildog. Are those hard to install? Can you salvage the old grips because I just thought you had to cut them off.

I believe the original grips can be salvaged using compressed air. The grips have a hole in them and in one grip you place an air nozzle and the other you stick your finger over it. The air pressure builds until the grip expands and is released from the handle bar.
This information was given to me by a friend and I have never had a need to try it, but it should work.

If you're going to f*ck up the English language, at least do it right. The apostophe belongs after the Y not the A. Of course y'all is a redneck, flunked-out-of-grade-school word in the first place!
