Just curious

 

I'm not from Vegas but I took an atv tour thru the Painted Canyon while I was out there in Vegas on a business trip. It was beautiful.
The rental atvs were Polaris Trail Boss. Not as fast as my Scrambler but fast enough to have fun. I'm used to riding in mud and woods so riding in the desert was a real treat. I would love to live close enough to an area like that where I could ride all the time. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I'm from Vegas. Looks like you have a pretty fast scram i would love to see it to get some ideas for mine. Where do you normally ride? and what days? I go out to Apex every now and then usually thurs. or fri. but the last couple months with this b.s monsoonal weather I haven't been riding much. But Iv'e definately got the itch now. Let me know maybe we can hook up at apex. Only problem is my days off are thurs. and Fri. Let me know if that will work with you would love to see that scramy. Jay

 

Im from Las Vegas. Most of my riding is out of the area anything around here for 50 miles is whooped out silty crap. The only thing that makes it fun to ride here in the valley is a good rain storm.

 

I hear you dunerocket I live off Craig and Camino Al Norte If I want to ride around here it takes two hours with a pressure washer and a couple of air filters, so I try to ride as close to lv as possible Apex isnt bad they have small dunes and not much silty stuff. but I usually try to get out of the heat up at cold creek. Or I take an extra day off and hit Utah. Corral Pink or Duck Creek area. You can make a Day trip out of Dumont but not in the summer!! have been to Pismo but not Glamis!!! Yet thats high on my list of priorities. Maybe Ill see you out there!! How do you like the new polaris? Jay

 

I go to all those places, Duck Creek is my fav. You should go up to Caliente area there are tons of trails and washes should be nice and smothe with al the rain up there.

 

Where is Duck Creek? We go to Nellis some Dumont and Glamis mostly

 

It's about 35 miles out of Cedar City Utah. There are lots of places to camp I usually camp at Uinta Flats you can get just about anywhere from there.Hopfully I can get one more trip in before it gets to cold.

 

I live by Lake Mead and Hollywood, sometimes we just leave out our front yard and hit the desert and go behind Frenchmans mountain and bygypson plant to go to the dunes the back way, we also like going down the arteries that lead to the lake, exspecially at night. i have a 2003 polaris 500 HO i ride i also have a 200 trailboss my boyfriend rides and a 90 my son rides. My boyfriend got a honda cr500 open class which the second time i rode that out a pafco it put me down for a month i couldnt ride. still the knee gives me pain. but anywayssssssssss i hope to meet up with all you las vegans in the future.

 

WE RIDE BEHIND SINRISE AND PABCO ALL THE TIME, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT BOTH . THERE IS SOME GOOD RIDING OUT THERE.
