yfz 450 glowing exhauts pipe

Default yfz 450 glowing exhauts pipe
i was just wondering if this is normal for the exhaust pipe to glow red after a short slow ride, 1/4 mile or so. Is it running too rich, too lean, or is it normal

They all do it when you are at idle and running slow. My yz426 would start glowing on the starting line. I dont think the yfz was made to be a slow trail rider.

The headpipe on the YFZ is pretty thin material. It's normal for it to glow especially when you don't have a ton of air blowing over it.

it's normal. that topic has been brought up several times with new yfz owners.
