Today me and my buddies were drag racing in a wide open field. I was in 5th gear about 3/4 throttle when I hit a hole and flew off the bike. According to bystanders my quad went end over end twice and barrel rolled about 6 times. Only damage it got was a bent front rim and a busted tail light. All I got was a sprained ankle and wrist, and one HUGE headache. Now tell me, how many quads can do that with that little damage? I was probably going about 50 mph. Thank God I was wearing a helmet. Please everybody, scout out the terrain before you decide to book it. Later

 

You're very lucky and your quad is very lucky. Upon a closer inspection you might find more damage. Like cracked frame somewhere, bent this or that like steering stem etc.

 

I looked over the whole frame and other parts like crazy. I looked over every weld and of course looked at the stem. I don't see any damage. I rode the bike back to the house and it seemed fine. It rode like it always did.

 

I hate when that happens! Glad you came out all right.

 

heh i only suffered a broke off headlight, handlebars bent all to f*ck, and thats about it lol

Did the same thing here a couple of weeks a go, flipped it end over end and barrel rolled twice landing upside down. Broke the left headlight and got a bad headache which got worse by the end of the week. Went to the Chiroprator.

This begs the question... who won? If not you then maybe you were just looking for the shame-free way out.
