I have it on my 02 500 and i would highly recommend it. Everything basically bolted on, the port job on the head was well done. The carb was jetted dead on, just put it on and did no adjustments to it what so ever. The performance gains very good esp. in the mid range. To be able to wheelie my bike b/4 the mods i would have to kneel on the seat and really pull back on the bike but after the mods all i need to do is shift my weight backwards a little and the front end comes up without a problem. I even have titan 589's on mine and it still wheelies w/o a problem.
