FRONT SHOCKS

Can I remove the clip on these 03 baja shocks to lower my ride?? I see that there is a groove for the clip. It looks like that's the only spot for the clip. I'm trying to lower my baja down as far as I can, If I remove that clip It looks like I can get another inch or two lower.
Thanks

I was wondering how hard it is to adjust the front shocks... i am wanting to move the clips up a lil bit to make them a little stiffer.. do you just have to compress the spring and then move the clip up or is there another way to do it??

There is only one groove for the clip, what's up with that? I took my shocks of and put my R shocks on it and I now have a lowrider. This thing now handles like a markay racing kart. The factory front shocks are just to soft and like to roll over.

the clip does fit in the threads I don't know why there is that one spot on the shock where its missing like one thread,,,, What shocks did you put on your ds 250r shocks,,,,if you lowerd the front what did you do with the rear to match it...I also want to lower mine but I'm not going to fork out 1500 dalla just yet to lower this thing I didn't pay that much to lower my truck.

Tricky, I just lowered the ride hight by raising the ajustment up all the way. Look in my pics, it sits about four inches off the ground. It's perfect for atv rodeos. I dont understand about the groove thing in the front shock. oh ya I put my 250r fronts on

Lowered mine with Elka zero preoloads and I have 20" mx tires on front and 18" mx tires on rear. Bike sits really low and handles like its on a rail. Oh yeah its also 4" wider with Tbr arms and spacers in the rear. But as far as the clip thingie goes it will fit in the threads on the shock body.
