my buddy has one, the belt tends to slip a little when wet, it has a noticable lag when getting back in the throttle. Also for steep trails, going down there is no lo gear, the only thing to slow you down is the trusty old brakes......
plus the raptor is faster, and handles alot better to me i could go on and on, but im on the teachers laptop and shes coming....yyaaaaa

i ride with two v-forces and have rode them as well...this is my opinion.
Jumping: Raptor (lighter more manageable)
Speed: they're close...slight mod or rider will determine winner
Mileage: The 700 twin is a pig on gas. if you ride allday...the smaller tank doesn't help the problem either. bring gas or plan for gas stop. i have never ran out of gas on the Raptor...even after riding allday.
Comfort: V-force (raptors seat sucks, unless your accustomed to dirt bikes...then you'll feel right at home)
i'm leaning towards the raptor on this. I dig the 700 twin...but the autotrannie loses big points with me. even over a manual tranny that can fail. here's why. i ride track as well as trail. to maximize lap times and monitor progress...i learn a track by the gears.
ie: Turn 1=pulling 3rd...whoops section=3rd and ^shift to 4th for Tabletop, etc...
sorta like people who by automatic Subaru WRX's...why? your missing the whole experience. maybe thats it. they lack the experience...so they feel more comfortable in an automatic.

uhh.... single vs twin? the v force puts out way more torque. but, id definately go for the rappy, its a manual, its smaller, handles better, more (useable) power, and its just more fun. the rappy probably accelerates better too, just because of the difference between the auto and the manual.
