You had a 100cc advantage. Real men ride manual transmissions

Right, Kenneth! You won a drag race, proving . . .

Sun City, huh?

Hmmmmmm.

Isn't Sun City where all the . . . , oh, never mind!

By the way, I think that's "4X2." A 2X4's a designation for bored. I mean, board.

P.S. Respectfully, I ask: Why post your triumph over a Honda on the Honda forum? What is your purpose and objective? What reaction do you expect from Honda forum readers? What action do you expect Honda forum readers to take, now that they've read your account?

Shades of "MAXRULES."

Couple of things for you Kenneth. First of all, where in Sun City...I am at 107th Ave and Deer Valley. I have a 400ex, and we have a 2001 Scrambler 400 4x2 for my Wife. Here is my main question...are ATVs made for the street? I think they are made for going fast over rough terrain. I suggest you try racing an EX (400 or 300) on some rough terrain, and see if that 500+ pound machine still dusts the lighter Honda.

Looks like someone's trolling.

What are you doing racing a 1/4 mile anyway, sounds more like a top speed test to me... I couldn't care less if a scrambler has a couple more MPH on top than an EX. I spend about .000001% of my time at "Top" speed. That's easily corrected with a sprocket change anyway....

I would venture to say that I can outrun your scrambler with a Yugo on top in a pavement race. I guess that makes the Yugo better than your scrambler...

BTW, make sure your buddy has adjusted his throttle cable on that EX, he was probably unknowingly racing you at 3/4 throttle...

Your buddy with tha 400EX is obviously not an aggresive rider if you beat him. Because I know this from past drag races. Ive raced two different 500 scramblers. One was a 4x4, on a muddy road, he had it in 4by and i had bald tires , and I totally spanked his ***. The other guy was riding a brand new 4x2 on pavement, and I beat him by atleast 10 bike lengths. And my 00 400EX is bone stock accept for the aluminum handle bars, nerfs, and works shocks. Race him again after he has some experience and I bet he will beat you.

Sorry about what, you won a drag race, that to be expected with 100cc more power. It was most likely a short race.

Why don't you boys move the racing into the woods & let us know the outcome. We already know that outcome, now don't we!
