Anyone know a company that makes heel guards for the Predator?

 

Mike, I know AC sells them with their nerfs. They just recently redesigned them. I think IMS/Roll has a stand alone set....that's provided you purchase their $200+ footpegs to mount them on.

 

If you want those AC nerfs with the pegs and heal gaurds already on them, be sure they will fit, I have an aftermarket oil tank from CFM and they wont bolt up to the frame, not enough clearance under the tank, going to have do some modifications to the nerfs or something? E-mailed CFM about a design that would allow clearance for the bars but no response yet. I wonder if the AC nerfs are the only bars that wont clear or are there others too?

Az Duner, the CFM tank fits perfect with the Pure Polaris nerfs. Now they've switched suppliers, recently, so that is subject to change. Neal's (CFM's) tank is a tight fit though.....just make sure to run the buffer over it if you ever do install it....kinda brightens da quad a bit.

I have seen a set of stand alone heel guards...I'm pretty sure it was in either rocky mountain or dennis kirk's fall update catalog. If my memory serves me right I think they were around $140. I'll check my catalogs when I get home and post the price and the manufacturer.

 

Rath Racing has them on their site. They have pictures in the forum and the store.

 

I just put the ac propegs w/ heelguard on my pred and love them (179.99) It was a pain to mount the bolts that go into the frame under the oil tank but, with some patience it is not bad
