Default putting a mojave carb on a lakota

I have read on the forum that replacing the lakota carb with a 34mojave carb really gives it a kick. First of all has anyone other than gaff tried this? I have pm him however he hasn't gotten back to me yet so hopefully someone else can help. I am able to get a pretty good deal on a '91 mojave carb and the seller tells me it will fit my 2001 lakota. Is this possible and will it really make much of a difference.
Thanks for all the help!

It will fit right on with no mods and will give you more power in the mid and upper range. I can not remember the right jetting but that will vary based on your exhaust, air filter and stuff.

It will make more difference with those mods. With the mods you have the larger carb is going to work better than it would on a stock motor.

mojaveaddict, first of all, thanks for your input. However, do you know if I would need to change my shocks if I add the mojave carb? If so what kind?

no need to change shocks just for the carb swap. aftermarket shocks are a huge improvement in ride and handling though.
