my 82 ATC 110 is not running and I don't know why. So far I rebuilt the carb, gas flow seems fine. Replaced one of the valves due to a nick in it (Previous owner put in wrong size plug) checked compression and that is now up to par. I replaced the air filter with new one. I'm getting a spark, but can't tell if it is strong enough. Replaced the CDI box, and now I'm thinking that the pulse generator might be next on the list. Does anyone have any insight to my dilema?

Here's the way I always go about diagnosing ATV's. Is it getting gas? Yes. Is it sparking? Yes. If it has gas and spark, then it's timing.

Try to start the 110 and then pull the plug and see if it's wet.

If it is wet then your timing might be off then.

Take the CDI pulser cover off and the pull start cover off make sure that the pick up and the distrubitor is lined up and the F on the
flywheel is lined up with screw hole. You can take the screw out that is next to the pull start if you don't want to take the pull start off. Check and make that everything in the CDI pulser is bolted down.

If it still won't start you can change the distrubitor to the other way around, by taking if off and rotating 180 degrees and see if it starts then. And make sure you bolt it back down.
