Believe it or not. Yesterday when I was at Heinen and Mason in Osseo, Minnesota they had a METALLIC SILVER colored Sportsman on the showroom floor.

Being curious, I looked at the production date of the machine. It was 6/05/00, I thought WOW, the dealer ship is only 4 hours from the plant but today is only 6/6/00.

Since the Arctic Cat dealer was basically across the street I stopped in there also and said "Whasup", The salesmanager said that everything at AC is so quiet he cannot believe it. No color chips, no catalogs, nothing. All inquiries about product were an answered with, "Wait until the dealer show in Nashville."

Is the Cat going to drop the bomb? Will they have a sports quad? Will they introduce a new true middleweight? Has anybody heard anything?

 

The silver Sportsman is very limited. They were gone before we could get an order in. If you want one you had better move quick.

 

is there anywhere online i can see a pic of that silver sportsman?? it sounds cool
is it a 2000 1/2 model? and is it more money than the regular sp500.

Definitely a 2000 1/2 model. Didn't ask the price but you can call them at 612-425-2178 if you would like. Don't know where the pictures would be.

 

I WILL HAVE TO CHECK THIS OUT AT H AND M. SOUDS COOL.

 

It will probaly be a 2001 model like the Sportsman DU and Scrambler 500 2x4.
