The YZF is a lot slower then its HYPE!
Please sit down before you read this or you'll fall down laughing and hurt yourself.
Just flipped through the newest ATV mag in the grocery store and they had a shoot out between the YZF450 and the Predator. The predator EASILY beat the YZF in every drag race. The best part was its dyno numbers. For a couple months I’ve been hearing how unbelievably fast it is and how nothing can come close to its performance. HA
It has a whole whopping 35 horse, 37 with the intake lid off. That’s only 4 more then my slow *** Z400.
Looks like the YZF450 owners are going to be eating a whole lot of crow.

That is true... i bet you a million dollars if there was a honda label or yamaha label on there it would be on the best selling machines out there 35 horses on the yfz huh? thats kinda dissapointing... the rap has more than that doesnt it? dirtwheels is also very dumb lets rember that...

That is the only category the pred. won. It only beat it by 3 quad lenghts. It doesn't matter what web site you get on or who dynos it, every dyno result is different. It still kicks the z's a$$ so I wouldn't get to happy!

Actually I pretty much quit riding quads the day I brought home the KTM, but if I wanted the Z to out run a YZF it wouldn’t cost me the difference in prices to get 5 – 6 more horse. I guess the only quad that would never stand a chance would be a 300EX.

Megacrash you are a ignorant fool before you bag on the "YFZ" which you can't seem to get right maybe you should race one and you'll see how bad that pred 500 get's beat by a little'o 450.
