Call Rick Ritter! I called Rick about his RCR stage 1 kit for my sons 03 Trailblazer. I ended up buying the HPD trail pipe and standard clutch kit from Rick. I liked the fact that there are a variety of mufflers to use on the HPD pipe. I'm very impressed with the difference the mods made to the 250. I can wheelie it now and take off is awesome compared to stock. Stock it would bog down climbing steep hills now it gains speed all the way to the top.

RCR stage 1 is $325 with free shipping. HPD trail pipe and standard clutch kit is $425. I would call Rick and ask him which would be best for what you want to spend and achive. www.rittercycle.com

Your better off calling him. I think he gets to many emails to answer them all. If you do a search for Rick Ritter you'll see a post about the hours you can reach him.

well, i kinda figured that he has alot of emails. But i kinda don't want to call becuase i live in Alberta, Canada. So it is a good long distance bill to where that shop is located. Plus i was wondering, the number one thing i hate about the trail blazer, is the bottom end slow get up and go. I owned a warrior, and it is a big difference. So i was wondering how i can get the luggish take off away. Would it be my clutching, and springs that would help along with a 36mm carb? I like the fast take offs and want more power along with the top end speed. It is hard to find what you want, when you don't know what is going to work the best. Also there are way to many things on the market for the 250's. So any other help from any other people would be great. And i don't need answers like, " Buy a different quad", i have a new one coming soon! Thanks

Pipe and clutch kit combo's are a great source of power but what
may take some time to get use to is the higher clutch engagement.
There is a wide variety of primary springs that will help suite your
riding style. Springs do not cost that much so you might want to
get a couple of different springs along with a clutch kit.
