No 4th gear for me either, still have 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th which seem to work fine.

I like to get everyone who has had a tranny problem and how many times they have had it (if more than once) to post it here.

Has Polaris come good even if the warranty was over for anyone yet? I have heard they know there is a problem and have been replacing heads and tranny's.

Adrian, I know of quite a few "out of warranty" claims that have been eagerly honored by Polaris. Heads, trans, and frames. That's pretty cool customer service. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

i lost 4th two times.

read my post on the 3rd page about a couple posts down. i made a comment on what is the problem with the 4th gear.my post

it can be fixed but dont look for polaris to do it. i took my engine to the shop and show the mechanic who fixed it the first time under warrenty what i found and then told him what i was going to do to stop it from happening again. he thought it was a great idea. i havent had the chance to talk to the shop service manager yet, i keep missing him.

i have 03 predator and i had the same problem i had no third gear my service dealer was able to get warranty for parts only so it still cost me about 900.00 can
