ROADLESS PUBLIC HEARINGS COMING UP IN YOUR AREA SPEAK OUT OR BE LOCKED OUT
#1
Sorry for posting this here but I figured it wouldn't get much attention in the appropriate forum.
If you like trail riding please take the time to read the article on
http://www.bombardierds650.com/bua.htm
in regards to the new legislature that is trying to be passed that will basically lock all of us (ATV riders) out of most of our favorite riding areas!
If you have time please attend one of the meetings regarding the proposal and speak your mind!
I will most definitely be attending the one here in Michigan regarding:
Huron - Manistee National Forests June 21
I know LUBA and a few others are from Michigan, if you are from Michigan and interested yet cannot attend, please send me an e-mail regarding your comments and I will ensure they are passed on.
Thanks and ride on!

After careful review of the government's webpage regarding the "roadless" issue. I do believe some are taking it overboard or out of context. Please take the time to review the following page:
http://roadless.fs.fed.us/qa/arec.shtml
There you will find the government's proposal will not ban ATV's from current inventoried "roadless" spots. But in fact, the county, province, township, etc. will have the right to deal with ATV's.
I'm not one to trust the government much, but I will continue to pay attention to this subject and plan to attend any local meetings. I suggest all of you to do the same, just in case.
