02 model TRX 90 does not want to decelerate w/o goosing the throttle a couple of times. Anyone have an idea?

 

Most likely a sticking linkage caused by a kink or dirt inside the cable. Try disconnecting the throttle linkage from the carb and see if you can still feel the bind when working the throttle, otherwise you may have something sticking in your carb.
