I was thinking about this. Can you insure a 250R since it's not anymore in cost book getting a price quote. I was thinking about this because it's not funny when you have a 10k $ and you can't insure it since it's a 1986. Thanks.

yeah you can. Progressive insurance will do it.

 

Does it cost a nut?

 

I've got mine insured for theft, costs about $150 for six months. I could have purchased full coverage, but that would have been about $150 a month. Company is USAA, I think you need to be military to get it.

Hey boogerbub, some auto insurance companies will let you tack it on to your auto insurance. State farm, here in Florida will change you about $280 a year for full coverage with liability.

 

Guys who got them insured, how much will you get it somebody stole your R?

I do not have mine insured for two reasons.

First, I compete in sanctioned race events. So most companies rejected me.

Second, cost of replacement. Since the "book value" of the R is well below my replacment value, I listed the replacemnt cost for the quad. Either the value was too much, or they hiked up the premuims to the sky.
