man, this raptor thing is phat...however, its mainly dune oriented man, not for woods or track....ive already read that! its not up against the 400ex, its against the DS 650, so i wouldnt worry....plus with some mods you ought to still be able to beat it.....oh, personally from what ive seen in all my friends yamahas, i wouldnt dare take a first year yamaha...OH MY GOD thats asking for it,haha....The ds's are already having recalls, imagine a yamaha....and i dont care if they come out with a quad that can litterally spread wings and fly....its hard to match the R and the EX.....RIDE YELLOW!

Well, I don't really know why anyone would be scared unless you race quads or something. I know the DS650 will beat my EX in a drag every time, and this Yamaha will too, but that don't bug me any. I bought my EX because it's a Honda and because it's got more power than I can use already (I'm not a pro.. yet, hehe). Plus, the 400EX is gonna be about 1200-1500 bucks cheaper than the new yamaha, isn't it? That's a lot of money for a guy like me.
It's just like the computer market (except at a much slower pace), you know the second that you buy your quad, there will someday be one that will be a better quad, but that don't matter, because you wanna ride right now! So you bite the bullet and get the quad you like, and ride the crap outta it!!

Its sounds like a pretty good motor, but thats it!! Other than that the thing is junk to me! Sorry for people reading this that like Yamys!! To me thats what they are, if they were not junk I would probably have a Yamy. I just don't like any setups they have on any of there machines.
