Hey ya'll I'm on my sons name because he wants a quad really bad... He said it wants a sport so he can race the kids at the spillway (louisiana) He doesn't want one of those big bulky type... He just wants one that will go fast... Any suggestions??? (we are on a budget not over 4500 so if yall are selling any used quads or know a website that does let me know!!)

hes 14 and hes 5'0 and 100 pounds... he jus wants one that goes fast

 

I have a Z250 that works real good and also there is the blaster. You have a choice of a two-stroke or 4 stroke. Also, there is the Warrior from yamaha and if that is to big I would settle with the Z400. The z400 is an excellent starter and experienced rider friendly. My wife started on the Z400 and loves it, great power when you need it and the ride is the smoothest I have found with any brand of bike.

If you get a brand new one........yes. I've seen them used already for around 4500.

 

it depends on how well he rides, and his capabilities. Has he ever ridden any quads before? if so what kind? how well did he ride?

How fast can the Z250 go because he likes the way that one looks???? Is it a good quad for his size (hes small) kind of

 

a z250 is an auto clutch, meaning if he wants to race, he'll want something better. Id say a used blaster or a used 300/400ex would be great for him. used blasters are cheap as all hell too!!
