400 2 stroke sputter and miss

Default 400 2 stroke sputter and miss

it seems to miss under a bit of a load up to 1/4 throtle but run fine after at 1/2 or full throtle it is like twin or tripple losing one cylinder? any idea and it did it before i changed my reeds

Youi need to change the position of the needle clip. This controlls your low throttle fuel. Most likely you need to go up on the clip till it smoothens out.

i have tried that and did not seem to help my main jet is a 180 for around here that is what most are useing if i remember it was sputtering before it was rebuilt i might have 80 miles on it

no actualy i have not but that is what it seems like a bad ngk lol i kinda over looked this will get one and try let ya know thanx all

YOU HAVE THE TORQUER PIPE did you loose any top end or bottom end as the dealer told me not to pipe and go with nos at about 1200 canadian or a turbo witch is more like 3000 grand .no one i know around here has a pipe on there polaris to compare the diffrence i know pipes work as i had psi on my old tripple sled but they say the jetting is a nightmare to setup here as you set it up for low altitude and it sucks up top or vise versa

When I put the pipe on I called Aaen for what they recommended for clutch set up and jetting.After I got it all put on I noticed a drop on the topend but it would pull like a freight train.I got most of my topend back after I changed primary springs from a Polaris green to a white.This lowered the engagment and lost a little snap but not much.What I am trying to say is I like the pipe and Aaen was good to work with.

well i tried it today and was working pretty good as far as i can tell the guy i rode with today had his done up banshhee and not his explorer cause it is popping out of gear and we seem to think it seems better now just have to try against my 500ho to see the results but i still want to pipe it and trail port i geuss i dont like to be told not to do some things i just want it to rip more and not sure i want to trade in 500ho on a pred as this 400 is for the old lady unless i can get a good buck for it thanx eh

Hey I got my 400 for my wife too but after the pipe and clutch kit she hated it so now I have 2 quads.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
