Now if only my wife would let me ride it!
Lime green MRP with winch.
I have to discipline myself with the throttle during break-in. Man, that will be tough.
Can't wait to hit the Badlands or Haspin Acres to really give it a try.

Last night I goosed the throttle in the back yard. Now I have some lawn repair to do! I am dying to get it on the trail.
I originally wanted an LE, but man am I glad I got the MRP. The first thing I did was put the backrest on it. That will be nice for long rides.
How's the power now that you are out of the break-in and can gas it?

I thought my quad would come in with the platinum racks since the red 650 in the brochure had them, but mine came with black MRP racks, guess they don't make platinum MRP racks.
Dan, I babied the bike until I hit break in, changed the oil, and after that had a lot of fun. the acceleration is great, and the bike handles well in the woods. I realize a lot of people criticize the artic cat's handling, but the 650 does fine by me and when I hit the straights - I am gone! It cruises nice at 55-60mph. BTW, the brakes are great as well. I also went through a muddy pond, had the headlights under water, and it went through with ease, in 2wd, That ground clearance really helps..

I did get the front wheels off the ground when I goosed it the first time. I have not driven a Prarie or SP700 to give you any comparison though, however after test driving AC400's & 500's, this thing has a noticeable difference. The best part about it is when you are crusing 20-30 mph and then punch it, you just hang on, the front end will rise and the steering lightens up and it pulls hard! I am just pleased because I wanted an all around quad that was comfortable to ride (independant rear suspension) and had some pickup.

No mods, its stock, it does seem to run smoother with a couple hundred miles on it now. I'm taking it up north again next weekend and cant wait. Only problem I had initially was, an "E" clip that connected the shifter linkage to the gearbox poped off and the linkage disconnected on me, the dealer where I bought it got me a clip pronto and i was back in business. not sure why it came off, but maybe the clip wasn't snapped in all the way originally or they didnt put washers under the clip to reduce the pressure on the clip when shifting. I have had no problems since then. to change the oil, I just went to the kawasaki dealer & picked up prarie 650 oil filters since the AC parts haven't hit the shelf yet and its the same part. I bought the first 650 my dealer got in, he since has got another two green's and has a lime green and another red on the way.....
